The Eureka Heritage Society's
2010 Home Tour. October 3, 2010.

A diverse collection of seven Eureka structures, dating from 1885 to 1956 were featured during the Eureka Heritage Society's Home Tour
on Sunday, October 3rd, from Noon to 5:00 PM.

Janet Warren, EHS President in 2010, stated that "all tour proceeds fund Eureka Heritage Society events, publications, a Historic Preservation College of the Redwoods Scholarship, and other community heritage activities".

This 2010 Home Tour presents an interesting
variety of homes and some old favorites.
Those included on this year's tour offer that rare opportunity to visit the interiors of private homes and significant buildings long admired from the street.
Pictured below, "Abigail's Elegant Victorian Mansion" at the corner of 14th and C Streets, is one of the homes on this years's tour. Built in 1888 and originally owned by William C. Clark, the one-and-a-half story Stick-Eastlake home is a charming bed and breakfast owned by Lily and Doug Vieyra.
