The Eureka Heritage Society announce the Preservation Awards for 2020

  • Dave Mulhern: Residential preservation award for restoration of the Puter house, Buhne and E St.
  •  Preservationist of the year to Darin and Jules Bell for saving the JP Munroe House.
  • Paul Stoke for restoration of the turret at 303 Wabash.
  • Joseph and Georgeanne Pucillo, for restoration of 1461 C St.

The Society will present the awards at an appropriate time in the future.

The preservation effort by our Society to save and install the historic Buhne Mansion Fence at the Annie B Ryan House & Gardens has reached a new level. The fence was moved from its basement location to our secured location. This year’s Summer Event is extra special because we are going to partner with the Timber Heritage Association at the Samoa Shops & Roundhouse (just below the Samoa Cookhouse). There will be burgers and hot dogs cooked on the grill by Ray, Chuck, and Bruce.  And music provided by the Redwood Dixie Gators!   There will rides on the Speeder train.  All of this is included with your membership for $15. The charge for non-members is $20.  You can buy tickets HERE or call and make a reservation with Mary at 445.0962.
